My Take On…The hilarious return of PARKS AND RECREATION

A day without new episodes of PARKS AND RECREATION is a day too long, am I right?  The 6th Season Premiere of the show airs tonight at 8/7c and we’re getting a full hour!  When we left our friends in Pawnee, Leslie was about to be recalled; she and Ben were perfect.  Chris and Ann were trying to have a baby.  April and Andy were perfection, and Andy was trying to figure out who was pregnant.  Tom’s business was being

Drop everything tonight at 9:30 (8:30 Central) and watch PARKS AND RECREATION!

Yes, that is an order! PARKS AND RECREATION is back tonight, after too many weeks away (it’s taking the 9:30/8:30c slot for the next few weeks)!  In tonight’s episode, Bradley Whitford guest stars as city councilman Pilner, who controls the budget – when Leslie hears that he is going to cut the Parks budget, she springs into action with some expected and disastrous results!  Meanwhile, another great bromance is growing between Chris and Ron as the two embark on a

NBC Thursday Comedy Night Done Right – Valentine’s Day

Tonight on NBC, the comedies are tackling Valentine’s Day – take a peek at what’s happening in tonight’s episodes (well, 5 of the 6) and tell me – should I check back in on OUTSOURCED? COMMUNITY Britta befriends a lesbian girl named Paige. PERFECT COUPLES Dave learns that he is nowhere near as cute as his dog during an afternoon hike. THE OFFICE Holly describes the things that make Michael so sexy. PARKS AND REC Ron addresses his overdue book

My Take Too: Danielle breaks down her top 10 shows of 2010

Here’s a continuation of our best of 2010 series with new contributor Danielle’s take on her top 10! Glee: I’m not afraid to admit it. I’m a total gleek. It constantly surprises me with its heartfelt, hilarious and realistic storylines. Who doesn’t remember the amazing Madonna episode or the touching monologues from Kurt’s dad (I’m still reeling from Mike O’Mally’s acting) or Brittany’s odd and quirky quotes.  Oh and I must have watched Gwyneth Paltrow’s episode at least a dozen

Rob Lowe and Adam Scott talk PARKS AND RECREATION

Just when I thought one of my favorite comedies couldn’t get any better, they add Sam Seaborn and Henry Pollard* to the cast.  Check out some great clips of Rob Lowe and Adam Scott talk about joining the show we’re all loving! After that, follow the jump for some deleted scenes from last week’s “Telethon” episode.  And don’t forget to tune in tonight for an all new episode where the Parks and Recreation budget is slashed by two visiting auditors

MY TAKE…on Thursday TV

There wasn’t a whole lot of TV to watch last night (I know in my house, we had way too many basketball games on), but what we did watch was certainly entertaining! Let’s start with FLASH FORWARD, shall we?   If you remember from yesterday’s interview with Joseph Fiennes and Dominic Monaghan, I was really excited for the Spring premiere of the show.  The boys weren’t lying when they said that the wheels have really come off the roller coaster now!

My Take on the Week of 11/29

Welcome to a week in review. Thankfully, it was a rather slow week, with a lot of big shows going into repeats, so I really had time to focus on some quality TV!  It’s a long read, so take caution as you  jump in, and be careful of spoilers if you haven’t seen something this week! SUNDAY, November 29 THE AMAZING RACE is really starting to pick up steam as it heads towards the end.  At this point, I would

NBC Comedy is all new tonight!

Following the premiere of SNL’s Thursday Update, tune into what I’m hearing is a much improved PARKS AND RECREATION: [vodpod id=Groupvideo.3439417&w=425&h=350&fv=allowFullScreen%3Dtrue%26] Sounds like Leslie is a little less Michael Scott this season, and that new series regular Chris Pratt is going to be killing us all year ’round with his awesomeness! After P&R, check out the Season 6 premiere of THE OFFICE!  I cannot wait to see this premiere – it’s one of those “countdown until the day it premieres”
