There wasn’t a whole lot of TV to watch last night (I know in my house, we had way too many basketball games on), but what we did watch was certainly entertaining! Let’s start with FLASH FORWARD, shall we? If you remember from yesterday’s interview with Joseph Fiennes and Dominic Monaghan, I was really excited for the Spring premiere of the show. The boys weren’t lying when they said that the wheels have really come off the roller coaster now!
FLASHFORWARD is back tonight, and while I know there are quite a few people who might disagree with me, I’m more excited about the return of this show than a certain other high concept drama on the same network. One of the pilots I found myself eagerly anticipating earlier this summer was ABC’s FLASHFORWARD, the story of what happens when the world blacks out for around 2 minutes, and they see their future. I got the chance to watch the pilot early and on a fancy big screen and I was hooked from the get go. One of the stand outs for me in a very diverse cast was my favorite LOST-ian, Sonya Walger (Penny on LOST; Olivia here).
For no reason other than I haven’t been able to really stomach her characters on a wide variety of shows, I have not been the biggest fan of Gabrielle Union. No disrespect to her; I’m sure she’s lovely. She seems lovely. So I have decided to call a truce with her, now that she’s joined FLASH FORWARD, one of the fall shows I’m most looking forward to. So, Gabrielle Union, let’s be friends?
