Fall 2017 Primetime Grid – how does it all shake out?

Now that the big-5 have released their 2017 Fall schedule, here’s a look at it all in one spot, in the 2017 Fall grid (click to enlarge/print) – New shows are shaded in green; all times are Eastern/Pacific. Looking at the networks side by side, what night do you think will cause the biggest issue for your DVR? For me, it might be Wednesdays at 8 with 4 shows that I watch regularly!

The CW Fall 2017 Schedule – JANE THE VIRGIN to Fridays

This morning, THE CW released their 2017 fall schedule.  They’ll have their premieres in early October, with 2 new series in the Fall, and 2 held for midseason (LIFE SENTENCE and BLACK LIGHTNING, which we learned is NOT a part of the Arrowverse) – with THE 100, IZOMBIE, and THE ORIGINALS coming then, too! Most notably, Tuesday is staying the same; everything else is changing, with JANE THE VIRGIN heading to Friday nights to be paired with CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND.  Take

CBS 2017 Fall Schedule – YOUNG SHELDON with Old(er) Sheldon on Thursday

CBS announced their Fall schedule this morning with no big surprises. A Monday line up before football and one after; same with Thursday, where YOUNG SHELDON will pair with old-er Sheldon after football. ABC 2017 Fall Schedule – BLACK-ISH on the move!

ABC released their fall schedule today – take a look at where your favorites landed! ONCE UPON A TIME is on the move to the family-friendly Friday night; BLACK-ISH is grabbing the 9PM Tuesday slot, but not much else is moving around.  Four new shows will be on this Fall, with more, like DECEPTION, THE CROSSING, FOR THE PEOPLE, SPLITTING UP TOGETHER, and ALEX, INC (the show previously called untitled Zach Braff). QUANTICO and S.H.I.E.L.D. will arrive at midseason, too!

First Look: Full Trailer for FOX’s THE GIFTED, Mondays at 9 in the Fall

Last week, they released a teaser. This morning, along with their new Fall schedule, FOX released the full trailer for the new series, THE GIFTED.  Starring Amy Acker and Stephen Moyer, the show follows a family whose new super powers put them in a bit of a sticky situation. FOX released their 2017 schedule this morning – some shows on the move, a few new shows hitting the schedule, and EMPIRE and STAR will share a musical Wednesday night – Held for midseason – THE RESIDENT, 9-1-1, LA TO VEGAS, NEW GIRL’s final eps, and the new season of THE X-FILES. NBC 2017 Fall Schedule – THIS IS US to Thursday!

NBC released their Fall schedule in advance of tomorrow morning’s UpFront presentation for advertisers. Biggest things – WILL AND GRACE is back on Thursdays, with THIS IS US looking to put the hurt on ABC’s TGIT. Putting a lot of their eggs in the TIU basket, the show will ALSO air post-Superbowl on NBC.  Other notes – THE BLACKLIST is moving, BLINDSPOT / TAKEN head to Fridays, and there’s no news on CHICAGO JUSTICE or TRIAL & ERROR yet. UpFronts 2017: NBC reverses decision on TIMELESS – it’s renewed!

In a series of surprising tweets this morning, co-creators of TIMELESS confirmed that NBC had reversed their (really disappointing) decision to cancel the show and they will in fact RETURN next summer with 10 new episodes! Hulu’s CASUAL, aka my favorite new show, renewed for Season 2!!!

I’ve basically been Kermit-flailing at my desk since I heard the great news that CASUAL (which you all know I basically worship) has been renewed for Season 2!  Hulu sent out the following note about their pick up today! SANTA MONICA, CA – October XX, 2015 – Following its successful series debut on October 7th, the Hulu Original CASUAL has already been picked up for a second season with a 13-episode order, the network announced today.  Lionsgate Television’s critically-acclaimed comedy series
