About Amrie

I’m Amrie Cunningham, a 30-something writer from the east coast.  Since the beginning of 2008, I’ve been editor/owner of My Take On TV, an off shoot of my former column with The TV AddictWhen I’m not busy project managing major market research studies for my basic 9-5, I can be found watching TV and writing about what I see!  I also participate in the podcast TV Times Three with my good friends Rae and JasonMy favorite shows right now include Friday Night Lights, Sons of Anarchy, Scandal, Homeland, The League, Bob’s Burgers, Archer, and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

I live in a suburb of Philly and in my spare time (that’s time away from work and TV), I like to read Shakespeare sonnets and plays 20 times apiece, hunt ghosts, sing at the top of my lungs to Butch Walker songs, and write!

    Amrie so, you’re a Philly girl:) I’m born and bred in the area. Grew up in Philly and when i got married moved to Bucks County. I did notice the 215 area code when you sent me the e-mail saying I won the Californication poster. I’m so excited about that:) Thanks again. I can’t wait for Sept 28th!! to see the second season of Californication. David Duchovny is my favorite actor. I’ll treasure that poster, and It will have a place of honor in my office at home.

  • Hey!

    I was wondering if you would be interested in participating in an online Hulu Awards Ceremony.

    I run a Hulu fan site blog at http://thehulureview.blogspot.com/, and am assembling a panel of bloggers and internet luminaries to judge the top-quality Hulu offerings.

    If you join the panel, you will be asked to nominate Hulu clips, movies, and shows for awards in a variety of categories. Then, you’ll be asked to vote on a short list of nominees.

    Please either email me with subject line: Hulu Awards, or post a comment on my blog. In your response, please include your name and website (I’m contacting a slew of bloggers about this).

    Thanks for your time;

    You asked about Green River Ordinance (known as GRO to their fans). They are a 5 piece band from Texas and their songs have been featured on SYTYCD and The Hills to name a few. They toured last year with David Cook, Collective Soul, Gavin Degraw and Kate Voegele among others. Their video for their single, “Come On” is on Jump Start on VH1. They are an up and coming band and signed to Capitol/Virgin Records and you should check them out at http://www.twitter.com/gro
