After Take: THE WALKING DEAD episode 515 Try or “Oh Lord, Rick just dropped his basket!”

I’ve been holding out. Not writing about The Walking Dead. I apologize. Since I haven’t read the comics, and I only in the last year got on board TWD train; I’ve been avoiding it. But with last night’s episode? Whoa, I gotta chime in. **spoilers/previous episode discussion bites are going to abound starting nnnnnnow** Sasha is a prime example of PTSD, even though she’s been functional, she’s starting to lose it. The interaction with Michonne and Rosita helped to shake

Courtney K reflects on 2014!

TV programming this year has really run away from me; shows that I expected to really love fizzled out into nothing and long-running shows that I had avoided due to “ick” factor, became permanent staples in my DVR. Let’s review, shall we? In NO particular order: SCANDAL: I have weekly “Lady Dates” with one of my best friends (HI NATALI!) where we get on FaceTime, Skype or text and watch a bunch of shows. SCANDAL is always a part of

Comic Con 2014: Talking THE FLASH with the cast and creatives!

Hot on the heels of the fan favorite, ARROW, a new adaptation of The Flash was a gamble. However, the right casting and writing teams have been dispatched and it seems pretty clear that; it’s gonna be a great show! During San Diego Comic Con 2014, I got the chance to sit down with the leading cast members and an executive producer; we didn’t get much time, but hey. What did you expect from a show about the fastest man

Comic Con 2014: Spending time with the AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

Let me set the scene: San Diego Comic Con 2014. This room was PACKED with press. Tables were full to capacity and interviewers were shoulder-to-shoulder trying to get access to tables because it was apparent; not everyone was going to have time to talk to all the talent. Space was limited, time was more so; I consider myself extremely lucky to have been able to speak to Iain de Caestecker (‘Leo Fitz’), Elizabeth Henstridge (‘Jemma Simmons’),Jeffrey Bell (EP), and Jeph

Comic Con 2014: Courtney K and the cast of ONCE UPON A TIME discuss S4

The big buzz for this season, and just about all everyone kept talking about, for Once Upon a Time is the addition of the Disney’s Frozen main characters to the cast. Seriously, just about every other question was about it. I almost felt bad for the talent having to answer question after question about characters that they have had very little interaction with yet! They took it in stride though and did their best. Q: In Frozen, there’s a parallel

Comic Con 2014: Talking DEFIANCE with the cast and executive producer

I was lucky enough to be invited to talk to some of the cast of Defiance and one of the hit shows’ Executive Producers during San Diego Comic Con 2014. Julie Benz (Amanda Rosewater), Stephanie Leonidas (Irisa), Jaime Murray (Stahma Tarr), Jesse Rath (Alak Tarr) and Executive Producer Kevin Murphy were all fantastic and gave terrific insights into their characters this season and perhaps beyond! Recently the storyline included an element of cosplay (people creating costumes, wearing makeup, pretending to

Comic Con 2014: CourtneyK spends time with the VIKINGS of The History Channel

I had the marvelous pleasure of participating in the VIKINGS press roundtables at San Diego Comic Con 2014. Travis Fimmel (Ragnar Lothbrok), Clive Standen (Rollo Lothbrok), Katheryn Winnick (Lagertha), Alexander Ludwig (Bjorn “Ironside” Lothbrok), Michael Hirst (creator/writer) were all in attendance. Fresh off the set actually! Fimmel and Standen had their beard-hair in full effect, and Fimmel and Ludwig both were sporting their respective characters signature ‘crazy blonde warrior’ haircuts. I had the feeling if the two of them walked

Quick Take: PRETTY LITTLE LIARS is back!!!

PLL!! IT’SBACK!!IT’SBACK!!IT’SBACK!! *ahem* I’m excited!! Pretty Little Liars is back for the Season 5 premiere tonight!! Season 4 was…well it was kind of all over the place. Aria losing her common sense and going on benders, finding out that Ezra has/had more to do with Alison than any of us originally thought, Hanna and Emily having personal dramas, and don’t get me started on Spencer’s sudden “relapse” into a drug addiction that everyone conveniently decided never to discuss again. I

WonderCon 2014: The cast and producers of THE 100 preview all new episodes of the show!

CourtneyK headed to WonderCon in Anaheim over the weekend and spent some time chatting with the cast of THE 100 talking about new episodes and what’s next for the show. Look for some more details and her interview with Isaiah Washington later this week, but in the meantime, check out what happened when she got some of our favorites on video!

CourtneyK is bidding a not-so-fond farewell to RAVENSWOOD

RAVENSWOOD: I tried… I’m a full-on PRETTY LITTLE LIARS fan, it’s no secret. The spin-off RAVENSWOOD has had 3 episodes and….I’m out. I wanted to like it. I thought it had potential, but in the end, I just can’t. For a split second, I was on board. I enjoy Tyler Blackburn’s Caleb (originated on PLL), he’s quippy and I dig it. But his “rescue/run outside before thinking” and “wandering off alone” traits are getting old.
