First Look: Syfy’s KILLJOYS

When we attended Syfy’s Digital Press Tour in October, we were treated to a Q&A with the cast of KILLJOYS, their latest drama and then one I’m most excited for, based on the footage we saw.  Syfy FINALLY announced a premiere date (6/19) and we now have our first look to share with all of you!  KILLJOYS is a story about bounty hunters in space (and honestly, so much more); Aaron Ashmore (Johnny), Luke MacFarlane (D’avin), and kick ass Hannah

Comic Con 2014: Talking DEFIANCE with the cast and executive producer

I was lucky enough to be invited to talk to some of the cast of Defiance and one of the hit shows’ Executive Producers during San Diego Comic Con 2014. Julie Benz (Amanda Rosewater), Stephanie Leonidas (Irisa), Jaime Murray (Stahma Tarr), Jesse Rath (Alak Tarr) and Executive Producer Kevin Murphy were all fantastic and gave terrific insights into their characters this season and perhaps beyond! Recently the storyline included an element of cosplay (people creating costumes, wearing makeup, pretending to

Spend some time in NEVERLAND

Have you ever wondered how Peter Pan, Captain Hook, and the Lost Boys ended up in Neverland?  Nick Willing, the man behind Syfy’s popular miniseries TIN MAN, certainly did and decided to explore that very idea – why did Peter choose a life where you don’t grow up, pirates don’t like natives, and crocodiles swim around with a ticking clock and a hand inside their stomach (okay, maybe that last part was only in the Disney version, but come on,

Syfy renews HAVEN for Season 3!

Variety was reporting this morning that Syfy had renewed HAVEN for Season 3. Syfy officially confirmed to TVLine that they have placed an order for 13 episodes to air next summer! I’m happy to hear it, because I really enjoyed Season 2 – and the cliffhanger was great! Congratulations Eric Balfour – I think your curse is kind of broken!!

STARGATE UNIVERSE is my newest addiction

In the interest of full disclosure, I must tell you that I’ve never seen a single episode of any of the Stargates, even though I love Michael Shanks and Amanda Tapping!  But I have to say that I was completely hooked on STARGATE UNIVERSE, starting tonight on Syfy with a gorgeous 2 hour premiere.  The show stars a wide variety of familiar faces – Robert Carlyle (Trainspotting), Lou Diamond Phillips, Ming Na, David Blue (aw Cliff from UGLY BETTY), Alaina
