Comic Con 2014: Paris Barclay teases the theme and feeling of the final season of SONS OF ANARCHY

At Comic Con 2014, I was lucky enough to spend another Sunday morning with the always wonderful cast of SONS OF ANARCHY (premiering Tuesday, 9/9 at 10/9c on FX).  Executive Producer and Director Paris Barclay spent some time chatting with us about the show, and tried to not give much away about how the Final Ride will shake out! Check it out!   *Forgive the camera skills.

Comic Con 2014: The incomparable Katey Sagal on SONS OF ANARCHY’s Final Ride

At Comic Con 2014, I was lucky enough to spend another Sunday morning with the always wonderful cast of SONS OF ANARCHY (premiering Tuesday, 9/9 at 10/9c on FX).  We were gathered more to talk about the show coming to an end, than to talk about what we’ll see in the Final Ride. Katey Sagal’s Gemma got herself into a little bit of a pickle at the end of Season 6 involving a grill fork and some skull cracking.  She

Comic Con 2014: Niko Nicotera and David LaBrava talk SONS OF ANARCHY and being thankful for the show

New series regulars Niko Nicotera and David LaBrava (Rat Boy and Happy) spent time reflecting on their time with the show and what it means to see

My Take On….THE LEAGUE Season 6 Premiere on FXX

In addition to fewer bugs and somewhat cooler weather, the change from Summer to Autumn brings with it three(*) guarantees: The NFL is back in business Fantasy Football is in full swing THE LEAGUE (Season 6 premieres at 10/9c tonight on FXX) is bringing you a fun group of friends that might hate each other a little bit, who compete for the Shiva, try to avoid the Sacko, and let their own FFL league run their lives. In tonight’s all

Athena Karkanis and Yul Vazquez Talk THE LOTTERY

I recently had the opportunity to sit in on a conference call with The Lottery’s Athena Karkanis (Chief of Staff Venessa Keller) and Yul Vazquez (President Thomas Westwood), and I was quite enlightened about this series. Extinction of the Human Race? First of all, how far fetched is it to think human beings will just stop giving birth, causing the human race to near extinction?  It’s a concept Karkanis doesn’t think is far fetched at all.  “It’s really a thing

Catching up with RECKLESS’ Gregory Harrison

In the words of Gregory Harrison, “Dec Fortnum is a “bigshot, Southern lawyer.  He’s a Southern Democrat; he’s ruthless; he’s a very successful lawyer; he’s always thinking like a chess player, several moves ahead; he’s got everybody under his thumb; and he’s a longtime Charlestonian; he goes back generations.  He goes back far enough to actually be considered a local.”  And Harrison should know Dec.  After all, he plays Dec every Sunday night on Reckless. Everybody Serves Somebody His description

Talking RAY DONOVAN with Octavius J Johnson

RAY DONOVAN airs another all new episode tonight that continues the great season that we’re seeing – Marvin Gaye Washington (Octavius J Johnson) is back and he spent some time chatting with My Take on TV about what’s coming next, and what he’d love to see down the line! The big question I had, how did you get involved in the show – classic audition process?  How did you get involved? My agents sent me out on the audition –

Comic Con 2014: Talking DEFIANCE with the cast and executive producer

I was lucky enough to be invited to talk to some of the cast of Defiance and one of the hit shows’ Executive Producers during San Diego Comic Con 2014. Julie Benz (Amanda Rosewater), Stephanie Leonidas (Irisa), Jaime Murray (Stahma Tarr), Jesse Rath (Alak Tarr) and Executive Producer Kevin Murphy were all fantastic and gave terrific insights into their characters this season and perhaps beyond! Recently the storyline included an element of cosplay (people creating costumes, wearing makeup, pretending to

Comic Con 2014: CourtneyK spends time with the VIKINGS of The History Channel

I had the marvelous pleasure of participating in the VIKINGS press roundtables at San Diego Comic Con 2014. Travis Fimmel (Ragnar Lothbrok), Clive Standen (Rollo Lothbrok), Katheryn Winnick (Lagertha), Alexander Ludwig (Bjorn “Ironside” Lothbrok), Michael Hirst (creator/writer) were all in attendance. Fresh off the set actually! Fimmel and Standen had their beard-hair in full effect, and Fimmel and Ludwig both were sporting their respective characters signature ‘crazy blonde warrior’ haircuts. I had the feeling if the two of them walked
