Quick Take: TNT’s THE GREAT ESCAPE is worth your time!

Tonight on TNT, after an exciting all new episode of FALLING SKIES, be sure to stick around for the premiere of TNT’s first foray into the reality world – THE GREAT ESCAPE (Sunday, 10/9c). NFL Network’s Rich Eisen hosts this show where three teams (the red, blue, and green teams) must escape from some of the most inescapable places in the world. In tonight’s premiere, three teams of two must solve riddles, find clues, and keep out of sight of

My Take On….FALLING SKIES on TNT

What would you do if aliens landed on Earth, hellbent on taking over the human race?  Would you lay down and take the punishment, sacrificing everything you know and love?  Or would you join up with some resistance fighters, call yourselves an army, and fight back?  While I’d probably find myself lying in the fetal position, letting the aliens do whatever they want, that’s not the case for the 2nd Massachusetts of FALLING SKIES (two hour premiere at 9/8c on

FALLING SKIES on TNT – New Promo

I don’t know about you all, but I’m pretty ready to see Noah Wyle kick some alien rear end in the new TNT series FALLING SKIES, premiering this summer.  Check out the latest trailer! Are you a fan of the comic? What are you looking forward to most about the show? FALLING SKIES opens in the chaotic aftermath of an alien attack that has left most of the world completely incapacitated. In the six months since the initial invasion, the

BREAKING: SOUTHLAND renewed for Season 3

I’ve been having a lousy day, what with the crappy weather in my area AND the raging sinus headache, so I want to send a big thank you to the folks at TNT for renewing one of my favorite dramas for a third season!  SOUTHLAND will return to the network in January 2011 with 10 all new episodes.  No word on which cast members will be back (hopefully all of them), or how soon after Season 2 the new season

MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE gets season 2

The official announcement just came down that MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE is getting a 10 episode season 2.  From the network: MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE has been embraced by viewers and critics alike, making our decision to renew an easy one,” said Michael Wright, executive vice president, head of programming for TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies (TCM).  “MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE blends insightful storylines, highly relatable characters and top-notch performances from Ray Romano, Andre Braugher and

SOUTHLAND hits TNT tonight!

What are you doing tonight?  You should be watching the commercial free premiere of SOUTHLAND on TNT.  The show, which follows the the members of the LAPD, is gritty, and dark, and smart, and intriguing! The show has some of the greatest talents on TV today – Ben McKenzie, Michael Cudlitz (pictured above), Regina King, Tom Everett Scott, Shawn Hatosy, Kevin Alejandro, Arija Bareikis, Michael McGrady, and C Thomas Howell.  SOUTHLAND made news earlier this year when NBC canceled the

MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE starts tonight!

I will be the first to admit that I am not within the target demographics for TNT’s latest drama (with some comedy) offering, MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE.  No, that’s probably more my dad or my older cousins, but I have to say that without doubt and for whatever reason, I am completely impressed with what they’re giving me. Ray Romano stars alongside Andre Braugher and Scott Bakula – three best friends who are at the same age but not

New Drama Alert: TNT's DARK BLUE

LEVERAGE premieres tonight!

One of my favorite shows of the season, LEVERAGE, comes back  tonight with a fantastic episode. The team had all gone their separate ways by the end of the first season, and in a really random and perfect way, they get themselves back together and working together before Nate even realizes what hits him.  The chemistry of the cast speaks volumes, and it was so much fun to be back together with them. Nate is now living over a bar
