FOX Announces Their 2013-2014 Schedule

Today’s a big day for FOX, as well, as they announce their 2013-2014 schedule.  They are getting adventurous, holding some shows until MAY of next year to run through 2014’s summer (including GANG-RELATED, GLEE, and the now-confirmed 24 shortened event series). Take a look at the official press release from FOX, and find the schedule in grid format at the end.  Separate links for the shows, including trailers and pictures, will be available after FOX’s official presentation at end of

NBC Announces Their 2013-2014 Schedule

As they’ve done in previous seasons, NBC released their 2013-2014 schedule the night before their big presentation!  Noteworthy changes – PARENTHOOD heads to Thursday at 10/9c; CHICAGO FIRE moves to Tuesday at 10/9c.  Also worth noting – there has been no official announcement from NBC but Donald Trump believes CELEBRITY APPRENTICE has been renewed. The NBC release looks a little something like this (after the jump):

CW Renews HART OF DIXIE and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST while ordering THE ORIGINALS to series.

It’s a busy day for news around here, huh?  Today, THE CW announced a season 3 renewal for HART OF DIXIE, a season 2 renewal for BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and their first official pilot pickup – no-brainer THE ORIGINALS (the VAMPIRE DIARIES spinoff starting pretty people in New Orleans).  That leaves two shows waiting their fate on the network – THE CARRIE DIARIES and NIKITA (with CULT pretty much a guaranteed goner) – and we likely won’t hear about

NBC Renews PARENTHOOD and 4 other dramas

NBC has officially renewed 5 of their drama series for their next seasons with 22 episodes each – established dramas GRIMM, LAW & ORDER: SVU, and PARENTHOOD, along with freshman series CHICAGO FIRE (which I love more with each episode) and REVOLUTION (which has seen some ratings dips since returning from a long hiatus, but that doesn’t seem to have affected NBC’s affinity for the show). Jennifer Salke, president of NBC Entertainment, had this to say: “On the verge of

GLEE Renewed for a Fifth AND Sixth Season!

In a surprising move, considering the ratings decline (and storyline quality decline) over the years, FOX has renewed GLEE for not only a 5th season but a 6th season as well! Here is the press release from FOX detailing how/why they renewed it! FOX has ordered two more seasons of the genre-defying musical sensation GLEE, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company. “GLEE debuted as the first and only successful musical comedy series on

In a day filled with news of all sorts, Warner Brothers, in combo with the CW team, announced that current recurring guest star Colton Haynes (he’s Roy Harper) will not only continue to Season 2, but he’s officially been made a regular.  He’ll continue as recurring this season, and when the show returns in the Fall, he’ll be among the growing list of regulars in Starling City! I really like what he brings to the role and I’m enjoying him
