Courtney K reflects on 2014!

TV programming this year has really run away from me; shows that I expected to really love fizzled out into nothing and long-running shows that I had avoided due to “ick” factor, became permanent staples in my DVR. Let’s review, shall we? In NO particular order: SCANDAL: I have weekly “Lady Dates” with one of my best friends (HI NATALI!) where we get on FaceTime, Skype or text and watch a bunch of shows. SCANDAL is always a part of

Comic Con 2014: THE 100 Round Table Playlist!

Here we are at the third episode of THE 100 (airing tonight, and I’m counting the ours) and it’s already been such a thrill ride!  The cast (Eliza Taylor, Devon Bostick, Marie Avgeropoulos, and Isaiah Washington) and creatives (Jason Rothenberg) of the show spent time with us at Comic Con 2014 teasing us about what’s coming, without giving away much of anything, in order to keep surprises like the Grounder-Blood-Transfusion-Train a secret!  Check out the videos and let us know

Comic Con 2014: GRIMM Season 4 Previews from Cast and Creatives!

We had the pleasure of speaking with a very large majority of the cast at Comic Con 2014, including David Giuntoli, Bitsie Tulloch, Sasha Roiz, Reggie Lee, Russell Hornsby, Claire Coffee, and Silas Weir Mitchell (missing only Bree Turner in the swaps), as well as the executive producers Jim Kouf and David Greenwalt, and the series director Norberto Barba. With Season 4 starting tonight, and Season 3 ending with Nick’s GRIMM-ness suddenly disappearing thanks to a little Adalind action, they

Comic Con 2014: Talking THE FLASH with the cast and creatives!

Hot on the heels of the fan favorite, ARROW, a new adaptation of The Flash was a gamble. However, the right casting and writing teams have been dispatched and it seems pretty clear that; it’s gonna be a great show! During San Diego Comic Con 2014, I got the chance to sit down with the leading cast members and an executive producer; we didn’t get much time, but hey. What did you expect from a show about the fastest man

Comic Con 2014: Honorary MToT Member Mel talks REIGN with Megan Follows

We were lucky enough to have a pinch hitter for some CBS-produced shows at Comic Con!  Our old friend, Melissa from Nice Girls relished the opportunity to talk to the legend that is Megan Follows from CW’s REIGN (and ANNE OF GREEN GABLES, come on!) along with showrunner Laurie McCarthy about bringing REIGN to SDCC and what comes next – check out the round table! REIGN premieres tonight at 9/8c on The CW.

Comic Con 2014: Spending time with the AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

Let me set the scene: San Diego Comic Con 2014. This room was PACKED with press. Tables were full to capacity and interviewers were shoulder-to-shoulder trying to get access to tables because it was apparent; not everyone was going to have time to talk to all the talent. Space was limited, time was more so; I consider myself extremely lucky to have been able to speak to Iain de Caestecker (‘Leo Fitz’), Elizabeth Henstridge (‘Jemma Simmons’),Jeffrey Bell (EP), and Jeph

Comic Con 2014: Courtney K and the cast of ONCE UPON A TIME discuss S4

The big buzz for this season, and just about all everyone kept talking about, for Once Upon a Time is the addition of the Disney’s Frozen main characters to the cast. Seriously, just about every other question was about it. I almost felt bad for the talent having to answer question after question about characters that they have had very little interaction with yet! They took it in stride though and did their best. Q: In Frozen, there’s a parallel

Comic Con 2014: Donal Logue previews GOTHAM and playing Harvey Bullock

At Comic Con 2014, I was a part of the round tables in the room for GOTHAM, which premieres tonight on FOX at 8/7c before the bonkers SLEEPY HOLLOW season 2 return! The show is a prequel of sorts to the Batman story we’re all fairly familiar with – this time, we focus on Commissioner James Gordon, back when he just got his Detective Shield, and his partner Harvey Bullock (played with relish by Donal Logue). Check out the above
