Say goodbye to BETTY

It’s goodbye time for everyone’s favorite UGLY former-assistant.  Tonight is the series finale of a show that is having one of the smartest and funniest seasons of any comedy out there right now. It’s a shame that they couldn’t find this rhythm of funny and dramatic last season, because if you’d missed Season 4, you’ve missed the best one! On tonight’s final episode of UGLY BETTY, Betty has taken the job in London, but doesn’t know how to tell Daniel. 

ABC cancels UGLY BETTY

In what should come as no surprise, based on the ratings beat down that the show took this season, ABC has officially canceled UGLY BETTY.  The show seemed to have a real creative resurgence this year, but even that couldn’t stave off an untimely death.  The good news, according to Ausiello, is that ABC and Silvio Horta have had talks, and though the show is being knocked down from 22 to 20 episodes, there will be a satisfying series finale.
