Beware – the follow contains spoilers!!!

Remember last week?
The episode had the audience shocked as Sergeant Voight and his family were attacked outside of his home.

What happened this week?
Voight believes James Beckett was behind the attack on his life and vows to put him down for good. He enlists his intelligence team to follow up on leads. The team is called to the scene of a Chicago PD officer who was on the Beckett case fifteen years ago. He was found burned in his car, the same way Voight was meant to be harmed. Voight reaches out to the other officer on the case to try to warn him of the attacks.

Meanwhile Alvin’s wife demands that he take a paternity test to find out if the young girl really is his daughter. He wants to be on better terms with his family, but he has grown attached to Michelle. Burgess finds out Ruzek has been engaged twice before their engagement and worries they will not make it to the alter. Her worries keep growing when Ruzek does not mind pushing back their wedding date.

The team tracks down Beckett on the streets, and is taken into custody. Once in the interrogation room, it is revealed money was stolen from Beckett’s operation. One million dollars is unaccounted for and Voight wants to know who could have taken the money.

Alvin stops by the boxing gym to see his daughter and takes her mouth guard to send in for a DNA test without her consent. Alvin and Mouse investigate further into the wire transcripts of Beckett and his associates, only to make a startling discovery: Nathan Whitcomb, Beckett’s associate stole the one million dollars and told Beckett the cops took all two million dollars.

Voight sees an opportunity to lure Beckett out and settle their situation. The plan goes awry when a gas distraction goes up and the team loses their targets. Beckett discovers he has been set up by Whitcomb and Voight steps in. Voight had the opportunity to shoot Beckett and move on, but Alvin intervened and helped them off the ledge. Towards the end of the episode, Erin reveals to Halstead that Voight decides she is ready to move back into her apartment. She continues to gain back her trust to Voight and continue to recover.
