Quick Take: The Return of HAPPY ENDINGS

Last year, a plucky little show debuted with so little fanfare and double entendre that initially had me grimacing. With her infinite wisdom, Amrie (in all CAPS I believe) recommended I give at least one episode. I fell in belly-laughing love. The rest, as they say, is history! Tonight, much to my giggling delight is the season premiere of HAPPY ENDINGS on ABC at 9:30/8:30c, after MODERN FAMILY. The opening sequence is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen,

My Take Too: Courtney K talks HAPPY ENDINGS

Courtney K fell in love with the show HAPPY ENDINGS just in time to hear the great news that it’s been picked up for a second season.  Here’s her take: Let me begin by stating for the record, the title of the show kept me from first watching it. I know. It’s incredibly judgmental of me but I didn’t like it and was planning to boycott. Then @MyTakeOnTV had some rave tweets about it and I decided to give it

My Take On…HAPPY ENDINGS on ABC

Tonight at 9:30/8:30c (and again at 10/9c), ABC is airing their latest new comedy series HAPPY ENDINGS.  The show stars Elisha Cuthbert (24) and Zachary Knighton (FLASH FORWARD) as Alex and Dave – the engaged couple at the core of a group of 6 friends.  When Alex leaves Dave at the alter (oh hush, it’s not a spoiler; it’s in all the promos), the rest of the group – Penny (SNL’s Casey Wilson), Max (Adam Pally), Jane (Eliza Coupe), and

Elisha Cuthbert and David Caspe talk HAPPY ENDINGS

I had the chance this week to listen in on a conference call with series creator David Caspe and series star Elisha Cuthbert from ABC’s all new (hilarious) comedy HAPPY ENDINGS, premiering tonight at 9:30/8:30c and they had so many great things to say about what’s to come and where the show ideas came from – check it out, and I’ll be back later today with an actual review of the show, and why I think YOU ALL should watch!

Premiering this week: HAPPY ENDINGS on ABC

I cannot express enough to you all how much I love the first three episodes of HAPPY ENDINGS, starting this week on ABC.  It’s a FRIENDS-type comedy about a group of 6 friends who are dealing with what happens when a big “she-left-me-at-the-altar” rift forms between two of the group members.  We’ll have a call with star Elisha Cuthbert and creater David Caspe posted later this week, and a more in depth preview on Wednesday, but check out what’s coming
