About Mase

Hey my name is Mase. I was born in 1985, so I consider myself to be a child of the 90’s. My love for television started in first grade. My friends and I would be waiting for the bus watching the first season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers through the giant bay window on his porch. It was at that time I realized there weren’t many different shows out there. Power Rangers just so happened to be the most successful (do you remember VR Troopers or Beetleborgs?).

I grew up on Nickelodeon (even got slimed once at Universal Studios). Clarissa Explains It All, Hey Dude, Secret World of Alex Mack, and of course the big orange couch on Saturday nights with SNICK. In Junior High I don’t remember much except for Toonami after school, but I played sports so I didn’t have time for it.

–10 years later–

Thanks to a Netflix subscription during the winter of ‘08, I was able to binge watch The Office for my first series. From there I fell in love with television all over again. And it was all thanks to NBC’s Thursday night lineup – Community, Parks and Rec, The Office and then 30 Rock. From there I found so many other great shows: Seinfeld, Smallville, Firefly, Big Bang Theory, Heroes, Scrubs, Chuck, Rules of Engagement, and the best for last How I Met Your Mother (with the ‘alternate ending’ ending).

Shows I am currently watching:

Arrow, Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Grimm, Brooklyn Nine Nine, Last Man on Earth, Scorpion, Lucifer, Gotham, Supergirl, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Schitt’s Creek, iZombie, 11.22.63, Saturday Night Live, The Magicians, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Crowded, Houdini and Doyle, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, The Aliens, Those Who Can’t, The Real O’Neals, Star Wars Rebels. (I am missing a couple)

Some of my favorites all-time (not ranked)
