Quick Take: FRANKLIN & BASH returns to business as usual

Tonight on TNT (9/8c), an all new season of FRANKLIN & BASH starts up with a 2-hour premiere that introduces their new boss, familiar-face Heather Locklear.  Don’t worry, Malcolm McDowell and Reed Diamond are still around, as are Carmen and Pindar; the only noticeable change in this season so far is the departure of Garcelle Beauvais’ Hannah, who is apparently off to another firm on the show, but fired (publicly) from the series for what were apparently storyline-related issues.  And honestly, her departure seems to literally be the only noticeable change (until a termite-related-issue causes a change of scenery later in the premiere).  Jared Franklin (Breckin Meyer) and Peter Bash (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) are up to their old tricks, still on probation from the plane-landing incident, and finding ways to do right by their clients – in hour 1, a pair of secretive twin brothers (played by Adam Goldberg) and in hour 2, defending a living, breathing human against the implication that he died.  Oh and did we mention the nudity?  All in all, a harmless and charming way to pass the time, so do yourself a favor and set the series recording for an hour away from your worries!
