What’s On? Wednesday, 3/31/10

There’s a good chunk of new TV tonight – perfect way to unwind from an already stressful week!!!

The 8:00 Hour –

ABC airs IT’S THE EASTER BEAGLE, CHARLIE BROWN and an all new episode of THE MIDDLE.  On THE MIDDLE, Mr Ehlert gives Mike two tickets for the Final Four, and but the college basketball game is the same day at Frankie’s uncle’s funeral.  On CBS, there are reruns of THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE and ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE!  On CHRISTINE, it’s the episode where she starts dating Eric McCormack’s therapist character, who shares office space with Matthew.  On AOP, Abby and Nick try to surprise Billie and Zack with a baby shower, and it doesn’t go as well as planned.

FOX has an all new episode of HUMAN TARGET.  Chance heads to an isolated Alaskan island to search for a missing doctor and get to the bottom of a corporation’s role in a miner’s death.  NBC has a repeat of MINUTE TO WIN IT.  The CW has an all new episode of AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL – Brenda gets a new haircut to make her look younger.  At the photo shoot, the models pose in baths of blood like vampires and Alasia and Anslee get into a screaming match at the loft.

The 9:00 Hour –

On ABC, catch all new episodes of MODERN FAMILY and COUGARTOWN.  On MODERN FAMILY, Claire has to try to find a trendy new gadget for Phil’s birthday; Mitchell confronts his confidence issues; Cameron gets mixed up in his neighbors personal problems; and Jay has a chess showdown with Gloria and Manny.  On COUGARTOWN, Jules bonds instantly with Sheryl Crow’s Sara but warns a strangely devoted Grayson not to smother her.  Meanwhile, Jules’ state of the art bathroom becomes the talk of the town, and Sara helps Grayson write a new song.  Over on CBS, check out a rerun of CRIMINAL MINDS where a serial killer targets whole families, and the team seeks advice from “The Fox.”

FOX has an all new episode of AMERICAN IDOL – one more person is kicked off.  NBC has a rerun of LAW & ORDER: SVU. John Laroquette guest stars as an immigration lawyer!  The CW has all new episodes of FLY GIRLS and HIGH SOCIETY.  Based on a recommendation from Tango’s dad, Bruce, the TAPS team investigates the Southern Mansion in Cape May, NJ on GHOSTHUNTERS on Syfy.  BBC America has an all new episode of THE INBETWEENERS at 9:30.

The 10:00 Hour –

ABC has an all new episode of UGLY BETTY – Amanda and Hilda join Betty on a trip to London for Fashion Week where they run into Christina and Gio (Freddie Rodriguez), while Wilhelmina tries to undermine Claire and Daniel by getting close to Tyler.  CBS has a rerun of CSI: NY – Mac and the team find the home of the so-called Compass Killer.  An all new episode of LAW & ORDER: SVU is on NBC – the case of a woman found murdered in her bed reminds Cragen of a case from 30 years ago.  Benson and Stabler question an ex beat-cop (Jaclyn Smith) and the prime suspect’s old lover (Ann-Margret).

SHEAR GENIUS on Bravo is all new.  SOUTH PARK and UGLY AMERICANS are all new on Comedy Central.  On MTV, you have another episode of THE REAL WORLD: DC – season 23 comes to a close as the roommates say goodbye to each other.  There are two all new episodes of Tyler Perry’s HOUSE OF PAYNE on TBS; on A&E, there’s an all new DOG THE BOUNTY HUNTER followed by BILLY THE EXTERMINATOR.

BEING ERICA continues on Soapnet.  Erica learns the value of setbacks when Dr. Tom sends her to an alternate reality where she’s a carefree millionaire.  Also, catch an all new episode of DESTINATION TRUTH on Syfy.

Don’t forget to check out the all new season premiere of IN PLAIN SIGHT on USA.  The season kicks off with a case involving Donnie Wahlberg!!  It’s a great start to what should be an interesting season of change – new showrunners, changes in cast, etc.
