What's On? Friday, 12/11/09

Not a whole lot of new stuff kicking around tonight.  Here’s what you should try to check out if you’re home!

The 8:00 Hour –

There’s an all new episode of SUPERNANNY on ABC to kick off the night.  Over on CBS, tune into their all new holiday special, featuring the voices of Neil Patrick Harris, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Alfred Molina, YES, VIRGINIA followed by a rerun of THE BIG BANG THEORY.

The DOLLHOUSE run off continues, as two brand new hours fill the night for FOX.  Alan Tudyk shows back up, and from previews it looks like we’re getting some rogue Echo and Paul action!  NBC has an all new episode of LAW & ORDER – in tonight’s episode, don’t miss the return of Benjamin Bratt as Rey Curtis, who shows up to help the Lieutenant through her medical struggles!   The CW has a rerun of SMALLVILLE to fill the hour.  In this episode, Lois is infected by a zombie plague from Zod!

The 9:00 Hour –

Tonight is the last Friday night episode of UGLY BETTY on ABC, and it’s fantastic!  There is so much happening; they’ve managed to do with a cliche what a lesser show wouldn’t be able to (you’ll understand what that means when you tune in).  Ana Ortiz, Ralph Macchio, and Judith Light own this episode!  MEDIUM is a rerun of the Season 6 premiere (the first one to air on CBS), dealing with Allison’s brain surgery.

Two hours of DOLLHOUSE continues at 9, with more Alpha goodness.  If these two episodes are as good as last week’s, I may actually start missing this show.  NBC has an all new episode of DATELINE NBC.  The CW has another rerun of SMALLVILLE – in this rerun, The Toyman crashes a party that Oliver goes to.

The 10:00 Hour –

ABC has an all new episode of 20/20 – did you hear the news that Chris Cuomo is moving from GMA to 20/20?   CBS has a rerun of NUMB3RS where Liz works undercover to take an illegal drug off the market.  NBC naturally has an all new LENO.

Time to tune into an all new episode of SANCTUARY featuring MICHAEL SHANKS!!!!!!!!!!  He’s playing Helen’s old friend that needs her help.  And [spoiler alert], Kate gets shot, and proves her worth to the team!  Check out an all new CRASH on Starz as well – sounds like it’s going to be a good one as the season starts to come to an end!
