My wife and me frentically (and frantically) wrapping presents on Christmas Eve whist “A Christmas Story” repeats over and over again on the TV. I don’t know but just thinking about it makes me smile and laugh!

My favorite memory of Christmas is at my grandma’s when I was a kid—the smells of cooking and baking in the air, the twinkling bubble lights on the tree, the gaily wrapped presents, the (at the top of his lungs) yell of my Uncle Jerry when he came in the door “YAAAAA HOOO!!”.
From the warmth of her big, old house you could look out the frosty picture window and see the skaters under the sparkling lights on the ice rink ~~~laughing and playing ~~~in the swirling and whirling falling snow. There was magic in the air.
