One of my favorite new shows from last season was NBC’s LIFE.  I didn’t expect to like Charlie Crews (Damian Lewis) but I loved him, and was so happy to hear it was coming back for season 2.  It premieres Monday, September 29 AND Friday, October 3, with four original hours in two weeks (I know, I’m a little early, but I’m super excited and want to get as many people interested in it as possible).  LIFE is the story of a man (Crews) who was wrongfully imprisoned for the murder of a family.  After getting his life and his job as a detective back (as a part of the lawsuit settlement which came with millions), he is all about eating good fruit, and spouting zenlike wisdom.  Along for the journey are Sarah Shahi (ALIAS) as Crews’ partner Dani Reese, an ex-addict with my-dad-was-a-cop issues and Adam Arkin (CHICAGO HOPE) as Charlie’s ex-cellmate, Ted Earley.  Rounding out the cast are Donal Logue (Finnerty! as the new captain) and Brent Sexton (as a fellow cop, former best friend of Charlie).
