From the set – DETROIT 1-8-7: Erin Cummings talks Abbey Ward

Right before Thanksgiving, a small group and I had a chance to chat with the cast and creative team behind ABC’s Tuesday night drama, DETROIT 1-8-7.  Over the next few days, be sure to check back for more videos from the cast about what’s happening in these January episodes (and beyond), and why you should tune in! Erin Cummings spent some time on the set discussing what she hopes is coming up for her character, Abbey Ward.  Check it out

Jason George and Martin Henderson talk OFF THE MAP

Tonight on ABC, OFF THE MAP, the latest medical drama from Shonda Rhimes’ Shondaland production company, premieres at 10/9c.  The show, created and overseen by GREY’S / PRIVATE PRACTICE alum Jenna Bans, follows the lives of three doctors who leave the civilized medicine world to work in a tiny understaffed medical clinic.  From ABC: Welcome to “la ciudad de las estrellas” (the city of stars), a tiny town in the South American jungle which has one understaffed, under-stocked medical clinic.

Rebecca Mader talks NO ORDINARY FAMILY

On tonight’s all new NO ORDINARY FAMILY, Jim’s brother, played by THIRD WATCH’s Jason Wiles, shows up and learns about (read: exploits) the Powell’s new found extra powers.  If that wasn’t exciting enough (I love when TV worlds collide), another familiar face joins the show tonight for a multiple episode arc as a VP Victoria Morrow, who offers Katie (Autumn Reeser) a promotion.  That familiar face?  None other than one of our favorites – Rebecca Mader (Charlotte from LOST). I

Catching up with Michael Cudlitz in time for SOUTHLAND S3

One of my favorite posts from 2010 was my Season 2 of SOUTHLAND chat with one of My Take on TV’s favorites, Michael Cudlitz.  Back in March, no one knew what would happen to the little show that could (having been a hit, then canceled on NBC, and then a steady ratings climber for TNT), and shortly after their shortened S2 ended, word came down that Season 3 would start in 2011.  Well, we’ve made it to 2011, and S3

Shawn Hatosy talks Season 3 of SOUTHLAND

I don’t know what you’re doing at 10/9c tonight, but if you’re in the mood for riveting drama with a cast of characters that we all know and love, it’s best that you tune into the season 3 premiere of SOUTHLAND on TNT. The show that was a hit for NBC, inexplicably canceled by NBC, and then picked up by TNT to air the remaining NBC-produced episodes, promises a season packed with more action, more grit, and even more drama

Preparing for the Vs latest plan with Laura Vandervoort

When V signed off at the end of last season, humans were about to face the wrath of a terribly angry Anna, whose million member V-baby army was destroyed by the Fifth Column.  When Season 2 picks up, no one is prepared for what comes next, as both sides amp up their plans to rid the Earth of each other.  I talked to Future-Queen-of-the-Visitors Laura Vandervoort about what’s coming up, and how she’s approaching the role of Lisa for Season
