Comic Con 2015: GOTHAM stars and execs preview Season 2

Over the summer, at San Diego Comic Con, we had the chance to speak directly with the cast and creative team behind GOTHAM, which has its second season premiere tonight on FOX at 8/7c.  As the show continues to dive deeper and more darkly into the world of GOTHAM, a city facing a particular “Rise of the Villains,” we talked to series EPs Bruno Heller and Danny Cannon, good guys Ben McKenzie, Sean Pertwee, and David Mazouz, and some of

Previewing Z NATION Season 2 with Pisay Pao

When we last left our zombie-virus survivors on Z NATION, things went a little crazy as Cassandra was infected with whatever form of the mutated virus Murphy’s been dealing with!  Season 2 premieres tonight at 10/9c and without giving too much away, Cassandra’s portrayer, Pisay Pao, previewed a little bit about what’s coming next and why we should all tune in! I love how you never know what’s coming next on Z NATION! [laughs out loud] Oh yeah, we love

Talking improv, diversity, and chemistry with KEVIN FROM WORK’s Jason Rogel

ABCFamily’s latest comedy, single-camera series KEVIN FROM WORK, has a different feel from what we’ve seen on the network lately, as far as half hour comedies go, and I’m really into what I’ve seen so far! In tonight’s all new episode, it sounds like Kevin is inspired to help Ricky after performance reviews come out. To celebrate the new show and to talk about what’s coming next, I spent some time chatting with one of the stars, Jason Rogel (Ricky).

Nathan Owens talks DEVIOUS MAIDS, Marisol and Jesse, and what’s next!

Nathan Owens made his debut on this season’s DEVIOUS MAIDS as a no-nonse male maid, Jesse, who gave as good as he got in verbal sparring matches with Marisol. The season has seen them fall into a relationship (and out of a relationship), while dealing with crazy Olivia and trying to figure out what exactly happened to Blanca.  I spent some time chatting with Nathan about what comes next for Marisol and Jesse, and what we might see next! Good to talk to

Previewing The CW’s SIGNIFICANT MOTHER with series star Josh Zuckerman

Tonight at 9:30/8:30c on The CW, new comedy SIGNIFICANT MOTHER premieres following an all new episode of WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY?.  The show (which was initially developed as a web series to air on The CW’s SEED, their digital studio / incubator for new comedy, before being ordered straight to prime time series in April) follows Nate (Josh Zuckerman), who the network calls a “budding restaurateur” who “returns from a trip and learns that his best friend has started

Julie Ann Emery previews her stint on MASTERS OF SEX

Being such a fan of Julie Ann Emery (@julieannemery, BETTER CALL SAUL’s scene stealing Betsy Kettleman), I jumped at the chance to speak with her as she starts a 2 week run on one of our favorite shows, MASTERS OF SEX, this Sunday.  She couldn’t give away too much but we did dive deep into the process of working with director Adam Arkin, who she might share some scenes with, and what comes next for her!  Read on to find out more!!

Comic Con 2015: The cast and EPs of THE STRAIN talk all about season 2!

One of the highlights of Comic Con 2015 was getting a chance to spend some time talking with the majority of the cast of THE STRAIN while hearing stories about how the book became TV (from Chuck Hogan) and the struggle of writing for 1000* series regulars (from Carlton Cuse) – check out our round table videos from Day 4 (above) and let us know what you hope to see as Season 2 continues tonight!   *That’s an overestimate, but

Comic Con 2015: Robert Kelly and John Ales give us the scoop on SEX&DRUGS&ROCK&ROLL

We didn’t get much time to speak with John Ales and Robert Kelly in the SEX&DRUGS&ROCK&ROLL press room over the weekend at San Diego Comic Con, but the time we did spend shows us some insight into what might go on behind the scenes of a show all about the reunion of a once semi-famous rock band. Check out the video for their very funny interplay and small scoop into how they prepared for their roles!
