My Take on The Red Carpet: HAPPY ENDINGS at the TV Academy

With the announcement that HAPPY ENDINGS would definitely be getting another season (really, was there any real doubt?) the red carpet was rolled out for the cast and executive producers (David Caspe and Jonathan Groff). Eliza Coupe (Jane), Damon Wayans, Jr. (Brad), Zachary Knighton, (Dave), Casey Wilson (Penny) and Adam Pally (Max) were all smiles, jokes and humble thanks. The fellas all donned facial hair of some sort, with Zachary’s being the most jarring for me. (I teased that it

Keith Carradine previews tonight’s all new MISSING: “No one is who anyone thinks they are”

Keith Carradine has had a long and illustrious career that spans stage, screen, and radio, not to mention an Academy Award for best original song (“I’m Easy” from the film “NASHVILLE”).  Recently, we’ve seen him grace our TV screens with guest starring roles on DAMAGES, DEXTER (I will always miss Lundy), DOLLHOUSE, and, personal favorite DEADWOOD. This season, he’s lending his skill to ABC’s MISSING – as Martin, the voice of reason in Becca Winstone’s life.  Martin leant Becca his

Sandra Bernhard on the GCB finale: “It’s funny, it’s fast, old school!”

Familiar face Sandra Bernhard is popping up on GCB tonight, playing Debby Horowitz, a tough, no nonsense woman who does not want Carlene Cockburn building her Condos for Christian Living on sacred land in Juarez, in what promises to be another great episode to wrap up this funny first season! I talked to Sandra about what to expect tonight, next season, and where you can find her next! Let’s jump right in and talk about Debby – tell me as

GOOD LUCK CHARLIE’s Leigh-Allyn Baker teases the new season!

It’s time I admit something to you all – I love the show GOOD LUCK CHARLIE.  I don’t have kids, my cousins don’t visit that often, and yet, there it is, on my DVR.  There’s something about the fun of the Duncan family that keeps me coming back. The show is returning to the Disney Channel Sunday night with back to back all new episodes, and to celebrate, Amy Duncan herself, Leigh-Allyn Baker, took some time away from her Parisian

Brent Sexton previews what’s coming up on THE KILLING

A lot can be said about Brent Sexton’s performance on THE KILLING – he has a way of killing me with his despair that not many other actors have, and I want justice for his family more than anything.  It’s that quest for justice for the Larsens that keeps me tuning into the show, week after week. I spent some time this week, catching up with Brent as the show heads towards the conclusion of the mystery.  We chatted about

Tell us a bit about what is happening when the show comes back tonight? Tonight, Audrey kind of lets down her slick exterior and goes down the nostalgia road. She gets tickets to a Bon Jovi concert, wears a teeny-little miniskirt and

GCB’s Mackinlee Waddell talks the finale, and what’s coming next!

You might not recognize Mackinlee Waddell just yet – she’s new to our TVs, with a scene-stealing turn as McKinney Peacham on GCB – but what I can tell you, after spending some time chatting with her, is that I’m sure we’ll be seeing tons more of her soon! Mackinlee and I chatted about the season finale of GCB, and what’s coming next for the show and for her – check it out! Every episode seems to be so much

Eden Sher says “We don’t care who you are, where you’ve been, come to THE MIDDLE!”

Whoopi Goldberg is showing up in ABC Primetime tonight – no, they’re not doing a special evening episode of THE VIEW.  She’s lending her humor and wisdom to one of the best shows on TV, THE MIDDLE, as a guidance counselor who helps Sue in her time of need.    Eden Sher, Sue’s portrayer, called working with Whoopi “life-changing” and went on to describe how she came to the show – “Well, I had done her show, and she’d told me

GCB Guest Star Grant Bowler teases Sunday’s “Adam & Eve’s Rib”

You may recognize Grant Bowler from a variety of My Take On TV favorites of the past – UGLY BETTY, LOST; he had a great run on TRUE BLOOD, recently, too.  Now, he’s throwing his hat into the Dallas ring as a businessman trying to seal a major deal (wink, wink) with Cricket Caruth-Reilly (Miriam Shor) on GCB.  To celebrate the penultimate episode of GCB airing Sunday, I had the chance to chat with Grant about his character, his plans
