Name of the Episode: “The Last Ride of Bonnie and Clyde”

Lucy tries to connect with her fiancé, Noah over a romantic dinner. However, her efforts are seen as if they’re dating again. Noah is being patient with Lucy, but he needs to know if they will continue in their engagement. Lucy manages to avoid making a decision to go in for another mission. Flynn has taken the mother ship to May 22, 1934 in Arkansas. The team has evidence of a necklace holding a key, and a handwritten note from Flynn’s briefcase. The note includes the date, Rittenhouse key and a bank name. The team will go back in time and attempt to get the key before Flynn can get to it first. While looking through wardrobe, Lucy discusses her failed date. Wyatt tries to convince Lucy to dump Noah because if she wants Amy back, Noah has to be with someone else. Agent Christopher barks at the team to hurry up onto the mission. Since she saw Rittenhouse on the note, and knows Flynn mentioned it, she looked into them. Not finding any information, the team discusses possibly telling her what they know. A risky move for everyone, but 1934 awaits!

They walk into McIlory Bank and look around. Suddenly, a shot rings out startling the patrons. A man and woman identify themselves as the Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker! Lucy has a gun pointed in her face, but can’t help but be a little star struck by the pair. Lucy realizes the key is around Bonnie’s neck and Rufus sees Flynn’s gang outside the bank. A firefight breaks out, Bonnie sees Wyatt helping shoot at the police. Lucy offers up an escape using their car and the foursome split, leaving Rufus behind. It’s very important to find out what the key opens and why it’s so important.

They only have a small window because the next morning Bonnie and Clyde will be shot up by the local police. In town, Rufus is being questioned by police, because he was near the bank when the robbery took place. Flynn tries to get Rufus into more trouble by telling an investigator he was directly involved. However, Rufus has a 1930s drivers license making Flynn seem un-credible. At the hideaway house, Bonnie said Clyde proposed with the key necklace. This prompted Bonnie to ask about Lucy’s proposal story because she was still wearing her engagement ring. Wyatt tells a beautiful story which brings Lucy to tears; seems he told the story about when he proposed to his wife.

Later, they try discussing the key more in detail and Clyde admits to stealing the key from Henry Ford himself. Lucy takes a closer look at the solid gold key and sees an inscription written in Latin. The key represents the beginning of time, and the end of time. Mason meets with Rittenhouse to discuss Agent Christopher’s interest in their organization. Seems her investigation could put her in real danger; and she does not show any signs of fear. Back in 1934, Rufus is released and escapes from Flynn once again. Wyatt and Lucy wait for the couple to fall asleep so they can grab the key. As Wyatt is about to grab the key, there is a knock at the door. Clyde’s best friend Henry comes by acting as if he didn’t just give up their location to police.

Rufus sneaks around the back and warns Lucy about the ambush because it’s happening far sooner than history anticipated. With the team about to be shot, Rufus pulls out his recorder and lets Henry’s voice incriminate himself for selling out his friends. Clyde shoots Henry with a shotgun for his betrayal. Wyatt demands the key, but Bonnie refuses, and the police surround the cabin and open fire. During the firefight, Bonnie and Clyde go out the front and try to escape. Clyde is shot first while Flynn grabs the necklace from Bonnie. Clyde dies in Bonnie’s arms, but she doesn’t want to be separated from her true love. She reaches for his gun and points it at the cops, prompting them to kill her.

The team has no choice but to cut their loses and go back to the present. Agent Christopher keeps trying to block Mason from seeing any research about Rittenhouse. While Mason tries to insist his analysts can crack the codes, her team is stuck on; cat and mouse games never end well. At headquarters, Lucy and Wyatt try to brush off their romantic actions from the mission. They try to convince each other and themselves, it was for the sole purpose of the mission. Later, Rufus is surprised by a visit from Agent Christopher and she questions Mason’s funding for the time travel project. At her core she is a cop and wants to figure out if, Mason is doing something suspicious.

Rufus doesn’t want to be involved and feels very uncomfortable with the line of questioning. He tries to warn her that getting involved further could be dangerous to her and anyone she loves. He reluctantly agrees to tell her everything he knows about Rittenhouse. At a museum, Flynn avoids security and opens a historical clock. Inside, is a document sealed with wax, but its contents are not shown.

Next week is the fall finale, and Flynn goes back to 1780. The team meets General George Washington, and uncover the possibility Benedict Arnold was a part of Rittenhouse! A major secret to the series will be uncovered so stay tuned for the next after take!
