Beware – Spoilers!!

Burgess goes to Lindsay for a coffee meeting seeking advice. She confides that she went to the theatre with Roman. They’re partners and friends, but by the end of the night she felt there could be more. She just wanted to hear it’s not a good idea. But Lindsay and Jay are already dating. Their conversation is interrupted when a call comes in about a stabbing in the street. Witnesses describe a girl was in her underwear and fighting with her boyfriend. She stabbed the man and ran away in fear. Another witness tried to chase after her to see if she was okay. The abductor drove away in a posh silver car.

Lindsay and Burgess follow the blood path to a girl cowering in a warehouse; bloodied and still holding the knife used in the assault. She simply asked for help.  Once she is at the hospital, she is identified as, Ruby Baker. She believes she was taken about two months ago. She was chained in a room for the entire time she was kidnapped. Ruby is only able to give a few details about her abductor, and discloses she was raped. She was in a room with no windows and no doors. She always heard children playing nearby; her kidnapper told her to refer to him as “Mister”.

Mister, said they had to move and threw her in the trunk. She banged on the inside of the trunk until he pulled over on the street. She found a screwdriver and that’s when she made her escape. But her past doesn’t look good for making a case against Mister. Ruby has been arrested for drugs and theft. At a pool hall, Antonio finds a man who knew Ruby in the past. He admits after their last argument she went into prostitution work.

Atwater and Ruzek narrow down their search based on a silver Audi search; to an upscale house that is on the market. They find a door that had locked removed from the hinges. Down into the basement they found a room doused with bleach and a ring where Ruby was chained.

Olinsky tries to connect with Ruby at the hospital room; having two daughters close to her age makes Olinsky even more protective. She doesn’t have any family and she admits Mister said she needed to submit; to go through a purification process. He saw her as nothing, but she could be something better. Just as she finishes her story, Natalie has to tell Olinsky the results of the rape kit; Ruby is pregnant. Ruby is in disbelief and wants a paternity test. Olinsky asks her to look at some photos to see if she could identify her accuser. Of the six photos she saw, she identified her kidnapper.
Drew Stommer, real estate agent who does not have any prior arrests and looks like an eligible bachelor. Ruby is seven weeks pregnant and they determine Drew is the father.
Mouse finds out information that Drew has an open house he’s hosting. Olinsky volunteers to pick up Drew; Voight assigns Atwater to accompany him on the trip.
Lindsay and Jay go to Drew’s home to search the premises. His wife is doesn’t understand the charges because it’s not the man she knows. Jay finds a baby nursery upstairs. Madison says although they are not pregnant, Drew says they will have a baby soon.

Once in the interview room, Drew has a differing story from Ruby. He says they had a dominant/submissive relationship; and insists the relationship was consensual. He paid her for her services and in turn he gave her a place to live. He isn’t surprised by the pregnancy announcement, considering she already is a prostitute. Madison is sitting in the waiting room and nobody can find any information about her. She has no history with her married or maiden name. After running her fingerprints, they find out her real name is Jamie Lynn Stevens. Jamie has been missing for seven years.

Dr. Charles is called into consult with the intelligence team. He goes to speak with Madison; Lindsay shows Madison a photo of herself from seven years ago. Madison doesn’t admit that the photo is she. Dr. Charles believes she made an alter ego so she could survive the experience she was put in. She denies any knowledge of having Ruby nearby and asks for a lawyer.

In Drew’s phone records there was a call to a woman who had no connection to the case. They soon found out another girl was kidnapped and tried making a call to her mother.  Jennifer, another girl who dabbled in drugs, was kicked out of her mother’s home.

The intelligence team brings Drew, Ruby and Madison all out to a field. They keep trying to convince Madison who she really is. They need to find out where Jennifer is being held. They find out the information they need; and upon their arrival to the house, the construction workers admit a real estate agent paid them to do floor work in the basement. They’re too late, once they find the plastic wrapping, they unfortunately find Jennifer’s lifeless body.

Olinsky and Voight go to Drew to let him know they found Jennifer. He doesn’t believe he can be prosecuted because they don’t have enough evidence. Voight convinces him otherwise, and Drew asks for his attorney. It’s not enough for Olinsky, he puts his gun up to Drew’s face to prove a point. Olinsky needed Drew to feel fear and to beg for his life. Something Drew’s victims felt plenty of over the last few months. Jamie Lynn has finally come around to the idea of whom she really is. She was able to give a full statement; but she thinks she has nothing left. In actuality, she has everything; she can start over.

At the end of the episode, Ruby tells Olinsky she will keep the baby. As a token of affection, he gives Ruby a bullet necklace from when he was shot. He was shot the day he found out he was going to be a father. Something good will come out of the horrible situation. Meanwhile, Ruzek thinks Roman is just trying to show off for Burgess. In a fit, he says Roman can just date her, he does not care. So with that, Burgess takes Roman around the corner and kisses him. Then promptly walks away with no explanation. At the end of the night, Lindsay and Jay continue to keep their relationship hot.
