My Take On….666 PARK AVENUE on ABC

ABC’s new Sunday night line up wraps up tonight with the series premiere of 666 PARK AVENUE (10/9c).  Terry O’Quinn and Vanessa Williams star as Gavin and Olivia Doran, owners of the mysterious apartment building named The Drake.  When something horrific happens to the hotel’s previous manager (supernatural, scary, you name it), Gavin hires gorgeous young couple Jane Van Veen (Rachael Taylor) and Henry Martin (Dave Annable) to take his place.

The story follows what happens to these beautiful people as they deal with the ghostly and dangerous things that haunt the hallways and apartments at The Drake.  Robert Buckley, Mercedes Masohn, and Erik Palladino also star as tenants and employees all struggling with the building.

That’s the setup.  Here’s where I run into trouble.  I don’t quite know what it is about the show that I don’t love.  O’Quinn and Williams seem to be having fun with their characters; Annable and Taylor are beautiful and have chemistry.  But the show doesn’t quite live up to the promise of a scary, supernatural thriller, which is what I really think it wants to be.  There’s an inherent fright attached to Terry O’Quinn coming off of the characters we’ve seen him play in the past, but I don’t think that will be enough to keep my interest.  The effects are okay, the storyline was okay, and I’ll give it a second episode to wow me, but 666 PARK AVENUE is teetering on the ledge of DVR-series-removal – what about you?  Will you be watching?

I found this rather interesting and I thoroughly enjoyed working my way through it.It has inspired me to do a better job of my own blog, as I tend to find it quite difficult to come up with any good ideas to post to be fair but it has certainly broadened my horizons. I was curious what plugins you may use to help your SEO and if you can share any tips on that subject I would be very grateful? I would appreciate any advice on how to get a wordpress blog to rank as well as yours. Keep up the good work.Kind regards.
