Last year, a plucky little show debuted with so little fanfare and double entendre that initially had me grimacing. With her infinite wisdom, Amrie (in all CAPS I believe) recommended I give at least one episode. I fell in belly-laughing love. The rest, as they say, is history!

Tonight, much to my giggling delight is the season premiere of HAPPY ENDINGS on ABC at 9:30/8:30c, after MODERN FAMILY. The opening sequence is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen, EVER!

The return of Jane and Brad, (Eliza Coupe and Damon Wayans, Jr), Alex (Eliza Cuthbert), Dave (Zachary Knighton), Max (Adam Pally) and Penny (Casey Wilson) has been anxiously awaited by me and scads of others who have always appreciated jinks of the hi variety. Idealistic and hilarious, HAPPY ENDINGS delivers the very best of the world, people who you believe would be actual friends doing ridiculous things and zinging each other consistently with comebacks and other quotable affectations that you’ll find yourself using over and over.  (I know I find myself saying “Ahmahzing” even though I find it obnoxious)

Do yourself a favor, double or triple check your DVR (or just WATCH it) for the HAPPY ENDINGS premiere tonight; you’ll thank me later, I promise!
