Dana Delany previews BODY OF PROOF

Tonight on ABC, be sure to catch the premiere of BODY OF PROOF, the new medical-examiner drama starring Dana Delany. Delany plays Dr Megan Hunt, a former neurosurgeon, who, due to an accident, was left without a career. Instead of retiring altogether, she turned her brilliant mind to medical examination and now, with the help of a team played by Geoffrey Arend, Windell Middlebrooks, Jeri Ryan, Nicholas Bishop, Sonja Sohn, and John Carroll Lynch, she’s trying to balance a messy personal life with limited social skills as she wades the waters of Philadelphia crime.

I had a chance to chat with Dana Delany (video above) this week to talk about how she got involved, the trickery that ABC used to get her to read the script, and why she thinks you all should take a look at the show. Follow the jump for two clips from tonight’s pilot episode, and be sure to come back and tell us what you think of the episode!

It’s too bad Dana Delany was cast in this role. She’s terrible, not like Hugh Laurie in House where you love/hate him or love to hate, but really love him for doing all the things you wish you could. She’s just make me cringe bad. I won’t watch anything with her in it.
