It’s a super-sized episode in which some of the latest TV news including some of the new pilots picked up in the past few weeks, Jane Espenson running Caprica, Chuck ending in April, Michelle Ryan as the new companion on Dr. Who, and ABC trying out a couple of their comedies on Thursday nights. Plus, Rae takes a moment to say a word about the passing of Kim Manners. Then we (Rae) kvetch about how hype builds up expectations and influences our opinion of an episode, using the latest episode of Lost as an example. And, as usual, we chat about primetime including the latest episodes of Battlestar Galactica, Psych, The Closer, Trust Me, Fringe, Lost, and Burn Notice.
