TVx3 E004: Don’t Spoil Me!

Episode 4 is up and running!!!

Our podcasts are broken into three sections. Here’s a brief summary of the topics discussed in our fourth episode: Don’t Spoil Me!

TV News: We shared our feelings on the renewals of My Boys, Sons of Anarchy, Entourage, Burn Notice, and Psych as well as the extra six episodes of The Mentalist that NBC ordered. We also briefly discussed FX canceling The Riches; ABC Family order of two 1/2 hour pilots, 10 Things I Hate About You and Ruby & The Rockits; and FOX’s decision to remake the British comedy Absolutely Fabulous. Then we briefly talked about Jason Priestly signing on to direct an episode of 90210; Mark Schwann’s two-year exclusive deal with CBS Paramount Network Television; and Tina Fey’s book deal.

Topic of the Week: What exactly *is* a spoiler? Do you like them or do you avoid them like the plague? How hard is it not to reveal information you know? We answered these questions and more in our chat about our feelings on spoilers and how we deal with them.

Primetime Wrap-up: Even in a week where one night was devoted almost entirely to debate coverage and we fell a little behind on our Thursday and Friday shows, we still had plenty to say about all the other television we’ve been watching. On the docket this week was Valentine, Easy Money, Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters, The Amazing Race, Dexter, Chuck, Prison Break, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Heroes, Privileged, Pushing Daisies, Ghost Hunters, Testees, Kath & Kim, and Eleventh Hour.
